Opened in 1973, the course is a Desmond Muirhead design that's dominated by very large, fast greens. While the course is well bunkered, it is rarely necessary to carry a bunker to reach a green, and shots hit short can bounce and run on. The course can be challenging by water that can come into play on 13 holes. Bay Valley Resort has a well stocked shop, and can assist in planning group outings and tournaments for groups of any size.
